Live Stream/WebEx Testing

This test page may not be active, please contact our office between the hours of 8AM and 9:30PM M-TH and we will set up a test for you. You can call us at 573-341-4526 or email us at vcchelp@mst.edu.

There are 3 parts to our connection test.

  1. joining a Webex session
  2. connecting to our toll-free teleconference and
  3. checking your video players.

You will want to complete these tests in order

Test joining a WebEx session.

  1. Go to: http://mstedu.webex.com
  2. Click on "Join Now" to the far right of the "WebEx Test" meeting. The password is 123456.
  3. Type in your name and a valid email address when prompted.

Once you are in the WebEx session you will want to test your two-way audio teleconference:

  1. Click on the "Communicate" button
  2. Click on the "Join Teleconference" button. A window will appear with the toll-free number to call: 1-800-358-8982. Follow the voice instructions on the phone. Enter 176-9104# as your conference room number.
  3. Once you have joined the teleconference, you can speak with a Video Production Specialist. You can ask any questions you have about connecting at that time. Please stay in the phone conference until after you have completed the final step of the test.
  4. Our classrooms also have two-way VoIP capability.  Please go through the audio setup wizard, before you join the integrated VoIP, to make sure you can hear and be heard. Both items are found under "Communicate" in the menu of the WebEx event.

The final step is to confirm that your video player is configured properly. This test confirms you will be able to access your class archives.  These links may not be active.  Contact us at 573-341-4526 or email at vcchelp@mst.edu to test.
