Just because you registered, doesn't mean you're done! Find out how to activate your
Missouri S&T
account, so you can login to Blackboard, get your e-mail, etc.
Live Stream and collaborative software test
http://vcc.mst.edu/stus/live-streamwebex-test.html
There is a set week, the week before classes start, but you can contact us anytime and we'll get your streaming media/collaborative software working. Testing with us ensures you will be ready to connect on the first day of class.
Watch Class Live
http://vcc.mst.edu/stus/classschedule/course_listings.html
This part of our site provides links to classes offered in distance education. Click on "Distance Education" under the semester of your choice. Click on your course title, and at your course page you will find your live links, phone number for accessing telephone conferencing as well as a phone number to call if you have problems connecting to your class, WebEx link, Blackboard link, etc.
Collaborative Environment Instructions
http://vcc.mst.edu/stus/collaborativesoftware/index.html
Instructions for WebEx and Blackboard are located here. Real time participation in the live class, homework collaborations with other students, presenting live, group discussion boards and forums, downloading your Professor's PowerPoint presentation, etc., are several ways you'll be using this collaborative software. For WebEx, we have two-way (listening and speaking) VoIP available for class and homework sessions. You also have phone conferencing available to you in both your live class environment and your homework collaborations. Please contact us if you would like to have individual training.
Archived Streaming Media links

Classes: Downloads

If you would like to download lectures, send a request to your professor in an e-mail and include the VCC (vcchelp@mst.edu). If your professor gives permission, the VCC will send you instructions on how to download your lecture files.
